If you decide to move to the next step, we will schedule an intake meeting where I meet with you to learn about your child and family’s history, strengths and areas of concern, and your dreams for your child and family. This is a time for me to learn about the unique gifts your child possesses as well as her/his opportunities for growth. You will have the chance to explore the environment in which I will work with your child, ask questions, and discuss treatment options. If and when you are ready to schedule a second meeting, it will include both you and your child to give her/him an introduction to me and the play therapy space and an opportunity for us to discuss as a team why your child is visiting me.
