Welcome! Thank you for visiting Next Step Child and Family Counseling website. I’m excited to introduce you to my practice so you can decide if you are ready to take the next step.

I am a  life-long learner whose personal experiences as a parent of two led me to this field. I have received extensive training in evidenced-based approaches and my passion for continually acquiring training and knowledge keeps my practice fresh and inspired.

I love caring for kids and families through creative therapy methods that are tailored to meet each child and family’s needs. I offer a non-judgmental, curious and respectful environment where children, parents, and families are free to experience their unfolding potential. I believe when a person feels completely accepted as they are, they are then freed to make changes that will enable growth.

My goal is to truly “see” and hear your child, through both your eyes as well as theirs. I want every child leaving my playroom to feel known and accepted. I am filled with joy when I see a child’s face shine with wonder at something they have created or discovered. It is in these moments that the "magic" happens and a child glimpses their unfolding potential and moves toward the realization of it.
